Ready for a bunch of pictures of all my cutie pies?
Below is the closest thing to a legit family photo I could get last Sunday. We had saved the Robert Griffin III jerseys for the girls until Sunday morning. Couldn't go to church with my snot factories, so we did this instead. If you make it all the way to the bottom, you'll see the crown jewel of my family photos. The ones for the wall.
Violet is blurry and not smiling, and Clover is...dancing?
I'm glad I broke out the DSLR for this instead of defaulting to the iPhone.
These girls are smitten with their baby brother. Clover was pretty neutral and disinterested in babies until this guy arrived. She calls him the cutest baby in the whole world, gives him a minimum of one and maximum of two kisses a day, and begs me to get him naked so she can hold his "furry little body" in her lap. A huge step up from the passive and not so passive aggressive welcome she had for Violet.
Clover has some real anxieties about the fit of her shirts and dresses on her shoulders, but she was kind enough to wear her jersey for pictures, even though it "makes her nervous" and is "not the greatest".
last weekend was hot and full of mosquitoes that swarmed us outside. This weekend feels more like Fall! Break out the beer for a toast!
This burly baby. My first burly baby! Jowls! Sweet jowls. He may be the first bearer of baby rolls we've made. He's like a little balloon full of breastmilk. lol!
Poor Tim. bolstered by the good season for the Redskins last year, and an encouraging preseason, went into last week's game eager to see a good outing. Not so much. He also took his jersey off because it was too hot, so I'm going to guess that he doomed them to craptitude.
he took off his jersey before the game too, but only because he puked on it.
These two. Violet is a little family girl through and through. She also dressed herself, as evidenced by her shirt being tucked into her undies, and her shorts being on backwards. But she did put clothes on, including underwear, which isn't that frequent to be honest.
And here we have the best shots of all. The kids, all together, snuggling.
Crying from the oldest, grimacing from the youngest, and the middle child picking her nose and wiping it on her baby brother.
I'm seeing these as photo canvases. In our entryway. Just so people know what they're in for.
I've got two projects that have been finished and unblogged yet. One in the works. And some ridiculous faux fur sitting on the cutting table, waiting to be made into some Halloween cuteness.
Aw cute pix! Gotta love the nosepicking ones too. HA!
ReplyDeletelove the family pics, especially the "realness" of them:) So very precious. And your little guy . . . what a honey!
