when the humidity is away

The Fauls will play

We had lunch on the deck yesterday since a storm blew away all the humidity.  But when I say "we had lunch" what I mean is that the kids ran around and took a few bites of watermelon while I yelled at them and kept them from getting hurt.

Sure, an unused, yet still full propane tank makes a great toy!

I may have told Clover to stop reaching for a skirt yesterday because I wanted her to wear her new shorts again.....

On the rare occasion that I decide to take my picture with the kids (um, that is really hard with a DSLR!) I never have any makeup on. Violet, however, is one gorgeous little lady. Sigh...she breaks our hearts every day!

I totally thought that I had Clover in this shot too until I looked at the photos. Lol. Violet likes to eat the flesh out of her apple slices and then give me back the skin.

It's 8:45am and I'm still trying to figure out what we are going to do with our day. I'm considering going to Jo-Anns to see what kind of machines they service (besides NOT working on Pfaff, which is lame), and then attempting to get out of there without a bunch of extra stuff. I've been in need of a new rotary blade for a long time now, and I kind of want to replace it so I can use it on this baby blanket project I have in the queue. Usually I wait to use a coupon before I buy anything there that isn't on sale, but I haven't gotten any in my email recently and I don't have the sales flyer anywhere here. I also need to restock my elastic supply. If I keep thinking about it I will think of at least 10 other things that I should probably pick up while I'm there. Lol.

    1. It helps when you have nice bright sunlight blurring out your flaws. haha. yeah, I get makeup on like 2 days out of the week, tops. and it's sheer mineral makeup anyway so I might be the only one telling the difference.

    1. Jo-Anns is pretty convenient for a lot of things but it's not that great overall. The fabrics tend to be low quality, and you can't find anything from most known companies like Moda, Michael Miller, etc. You can use coupons to get things like scissors and batting at good prices though. I really wish there was a nice privately owned fabric shop around here. Do you have Target in England? Because if you don't have Target I definitely pity you. hehe

    1. I totally got out of Joanns with nothing but 5 1$ birdhouses for Clover to paint. But I can't take all of the credit. Not having any coupons and the things I wanted not being on sale was really the reason. Lol.
