My week according to Facebook:
Violet is just now napping at 2pm. Which means that she will be attending the Friday evening uncorking of the wine.this morning Tim and I were working in the church nursery together. I was putting some wooden puzzles back together so they could be put away, and Tim said to me "I just did that not very long ago.....so whatever you do over there isn't that impressive". LOL.Violet had stuck her hand on my freshly painted windowsill, and as I was washing the paint from her hands, Clover was pestering me to help her tie a bow in some string. After telling her several times to please wait, I finally got to that, and as I finished the bow I heard Violet's voice
"I painting! Good job!" 0_0Violet shoved her hand up the back of my shirt today and called me a puppet.
The weather has been tolerable this week so we have been spending some time on the deck. My kids are reveling in the sandbox. They are also taking most of their meals there too. Why they will turn their noses up at my cooking and then go heap spoonfuls of sand into their mouths is something I will never understand.
My little lady is enjoying a spot of tea. mmmm. sand tea.
I really have been working on some projects. Honest. The thingy I finished yesterday is for Father's day though so it can't be shared until my husband and daddy open their gifts. And I've been working on a relatively complicated garment sewing technique that I'm hoping to be able to incorporate into my summer shorts sew along project. Yesterday I also fiiiinally started working on this baby blanket that I got fabric for.
I'm also now the owner of a kindle touch thanks to our Amazon credit card points. It's great! And I got a green lighted leather case for it so I can read in the dark. The only problem is that our mac wireless hotspot broke right before the kindle came so I can't get any books on it. lol. But I've been able to read about 90 pages of my Montessori At Home ebook since it's a pdf that I could drag to the kindle on the computer.
This weekend could have been planned out to be spent as a family, relaxing and enjoying one another, but I think it will be spent trying to submit to our out of controlfeudal lord's HOA's latest demands. I wonder how many people in our neighborhood are dreaming of living in the country right now.
I also currently have about 1,000,000,000.5 sewing projects that I am lining up in my head to do. One minute I must immediately start working on bonnets (which I haven't even got a pattern for), the next an art kit for Clover, a bassinet to hold her baby, something quilty (Been reading Quilting Modern), those Banyan tee shirts I still need to make with my slub knit.....or maybe even finish the things I'm already working on right now. Nah. That last one was pretty ridiculous.
