these lovelies came in the mail for me yesterday. I was hovering around the mailbox with the kids, waiting for the mailman to finish his job. lol
in the foreground is Washi Tape by Rashida Coleman Hale
next is Heath by Alexander Henry in chocolate brown
last Pinwheels in cream by Sarah Jane for Michael Miller
I bought from Pink Castle fabrics, and they were really helpful and quick.
so what is this fabric destined to become? well...my in-laws sent me a bit of birthday money that I hadn't spent on anything specific yet, and I was inspired by a bag by Imagine Gnats and had already taken a liking to the Noodlehead pattern she used to make the 241 tote bag
here is the image from Noodlehead
I was actually pretty sure I was going to use the cloud fabric in the example photo because I like it so much, but it was out of stock when I went looking for it, and I was also eyeballing the Washi tape. After making a pinterest board devoted to possible fabrics, I kept coming back to Washi. Instead of choosing a solid, I decided on the heath. And Sarah Jane prints just make me happy. now I need to find a magnetic snap and get started!

gah!!! love :)
ReplyDeleteOh I totally agree!! I just made some fabric covered buttons with those pinwheels last night...for barrettes...and they made me smile just to see them!!!
