Facebook friday download

 My week according to facebook:
Violet is a fly hunter. Two last night and one this morning. She gets really intense when she hunts one and then brings it to us with pride. Like a cat with a dead mouse!

RIP etched anchor glass

Clover just kicked me out of her lego zone by telling me to "mama can you go away to your computer to play some letters? (words with friends)"....seriously? RUDE. pfffft. I love getting dissed by a 3 year old.

Tim made the Dyson guy at Costco feel uncomfortable today by letting him know he had some of his demo glitter stuck to his face. After watching him struggle to pick it off I finally encouraged him to use his smart phone as a mirror while we escaped an awkward social situation...

you THINK you want some silence every once in a while, until it happens, and then you have to clean up.

"God made us all verrrry difficult!" -clover-
I'm pretty sure she was going for "different" but this version works too. Lol!

I'm wondering how I managed to get through most of my morning without noticing that there was a wooden letter O in my bra.

I'm such an idiot for enjoying 10 min of peace and quiet rather than go discover what horror was taking place upstairs. Nothing beats being greeted at the door by Clover saying "violet's got poop on her hands, mama!" as you see things being flung from deep within a closet.

Why oh why has What About Bob not been released on bluray? What about bob, bluray people? What about bob!?

I often try to do something called "friday treat" with my kids, which usually just means I get them something special when I'm out grabbing a few groceries for the weekend. But this week I decided to make it a little more special by taking them to the mall (seriously, one of my LEAST favorite places to go) for Ben and Jerry's and a carousel ride.

Clover threw her mint ice cream speckled head back, grinning and laughing as she rode on a carousel horse. Violet clung to me like a monkey, having decided before the ride even started that riding on a horse wasn't for her. Once it was over, Clover gripped onto the pole and wouldn't let go except by force. Once I finally got her out of the carousel she attempted to blend in with another family in order to get rid of me so she could stay. The most hilarious thing was that the family she found was black and she didn't blend in at all. lol.

I've just gotten back from my second visit to a chiropractor. There are some pain and tension issues that I have been living with, so hopefully the chiro/muscular therapy will help with that. Today, part of the visit included some electrical current being sent through my wicked tight shoulder/neck muscles. It was 12 minutes of blissful silence and the feeling of small pebbles being poured through my muscles.

Well, Friday wine is in the fridge. I'm looking forward to lounging, sipping some Petite Syrah, and doing some awkward yet sincere flirting with my hot husband.
